Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! We offer two solutions for stucco coatings: A standard spray application of acrylic-latex paint, or an elastomeric coating. Our standard stucco paint is suitable for freshening the look of your stucco, changing the colour of your home, or covering old paint on already-painted stucco. Elastomeric applies thick on top of stucco, stretches, and bridges cracks, making it suitable for sealing cracked building envelopes or finishing repaired stucco for a uniform appearance.
Yes! While vinyl and aluminum sidings are long-lasting materials, they aren’t invulnerable to deterioration, particularly when subjected to UV radiation in direct sunlight. We are able to paint both of these materials, freshening their appearance, changing their colour, and delivering lasting results.
Yes! Whether you aim to lower your greenhouse gas emissions, or have a sensitivity to paint fumes, we are happy to use low or zero-VOC products. Many of our customers are hesitant to commit to an interior paint job during winter, since they can’t open their windows to air out their homes. Reducing VOCs released into the air from drying paint is a great way to reduce unpleasant smells and potential irritants in your home. Please, let us know if this is something that you require!
Yes! Staining is one of the most demanding jobs in a painter’s repertoire, and ought to deliver stunning results. We are equipped to provide spray stains, brush stains, and wipe-on wipe-off stains. Just ask, and we’ll be happy to show you what is possible.
Yes! We carry one million dollars of liability insurance.
Every substrate demands different methods of preparation, but universal to all of them are three steps: Cleaning, removing loose and peeling paint, and using the correct primer. When we meet to discuss your job, we’ll be happy to show you the particular methods necessary to ensure a durable, long-lasting paint job.
Yes! We do not paint exteriors in winter, as colder temperatures can have a negative impact on the longevity of paints during their drying or curing process. And, for obvious reasons, paint in a solid state is not useful, precluding any exterior work in freezing temperatures. But we are happy to paint any interior, climate controlled space during the winter.
